Visa-free regime between Israel and Republic of Belarus comes to life on Thursday. Third Secretary of Political Affairs of the Embassy of Belarus in Israel Yuri Simakov confirmed that an agreement on the abolition of visas is working from 12 p.m. November 26th .
Belarusian Embassy recalls that after the visa-free regime is on, the citizens of both countries with valid national passport (except diplomatic and service) can travel in private, business and tourism purposes without a visa for up to 90 days within 6 months from the date of the first entry. Cancellation of visas doesn’t working for people who are planning to make a commercial or other income-generating activities with country-partner.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Israel said that agreement was accepted in the beginning of September, while Belarus approved it November 26th.
Within the framework of an agreement on visa-free regime, a citizen of one country may enter the territory of another country without a national passport visa. Vissiting the territory of another country without a visa may not be longer than 90 days within six months from the date of entry. The agreement was signed for one year and must be renewed automatically for as long as one of the countries notifies the other of desire to cancel the agreement.
